Mawson Resources Limited (Mawson) is engaged in the exploration of uranium. The Company has three projects: Sweden Uranium Projects, Finland Uranium Projects and Spain Uranium Projects. As of May 31, 2009, Mawson has staked 27 claims with uranium totalling 25,624 hectares and six non-uranium exploration permits (nickel and vanadium) totaling 2,281 hectares. In April 2009, the Company completed a 165 hole, deep till drill program surrounding the Klappibacken deposit. The Company has two wholly owned subsidiaries, Mawson Sweden AB and Mawson Energi AB. On July 25, 2008, Mawson completed the sale of the majority of its non-uranium mineral properties, comprising 25 exploration claims and one mining lease (the claims) in Sweden to Hansa Resources Limited.
