Stornoway Diamond Corporation (Stornoway) is a diamond exploration and development company. It is engaged in the exploration and development of diamond projects in Canada. It focuses on its 100% owned Renard Diamond Project located in north-central Quebec. Four additional projects in eastern Nunavut and on the Ontario/Quebec border are classified as being at an advanced stage. As of July 30, 2012, it held interests, directly or through joint ventures, in a property portfolio of some 17 properties representing approximately 1.68 million acres that can be subdivided into 135,000 acres of development stage projects (the Foxtrot Property, which includes the Renard Diamond Project), 1.14 million acres of advanced exploration properties (Aviat, Qilalugaq, Churchill and Timiskaming) and 386,000 acres of early stage projects (Pikoo, Aeon Properties and others). As of April 1, 2011, Stornoway had a 100% interest in the Renard Diamond Project through Les Diamants Stornoway (Canada) inc. (SDCI).
