Carmanah Technologies Corporation (Carmanah) designs, develops and distributes self-contained solar powered light emitting diode (LED) lighting solutions. In addition the Company is an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) provider within the roof-top solar grid-tie market in Ontario, Canada, as well as a distributor of mobile power solutions for the Recreational Vehicle (RV) and work truck market in North America. The Company�s business is divided into two operating segments, the Lighting division and the Solar Power Systems division. The Lighting division includes two product segments: solar-powered beacons for marine, aviation, traffic and defense applications (referred to as the Signals or Signaling market sector), and solar-powered outdoor area lighting. The Solar Power Systems division includes grid-tie solar power systems for industrial applications and mobile power systems (the Mobile market sector). In January 2013, the Company acquired Spot Devices Inc.
