Forsys Metals Corp. (Forsys) is a Canada-based, exploration-stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties. The Company’s principal focus is on bringing the Valencia Uranium Project into production and exploring its other mineral properties located in Namibia, Africa. As of December 31, 2008, Forsys held a 100% interest in Omatjete Mining Company (Pty) Limited. It holds various exploration licenses for mineral properties in Namibia, Africa, which include a 70% interest in exclusive prospecting licenses 3632, 3635, 3636 and 3637 held by Ancash Investments; a 91% interest in the exclusive prospecting license 3638 for Dunefield Mining Company (Proprietary) Limited; a 90% interest in the exclusive prospecting license 3195 for the Ondundu gold project; exclusive prospecting license 3166 for the Omaruru gold project, and exclusive prospecting license 2797 for the Sperrgebeit zinc project.
