Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. is a developer, owner and operator of run-of-river hydroelectric facilities, wind energy farms and of solar photovoltaic (PV) farms in North America. The Company operates various power generating facilities in the Provinces of Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia and in the State of Idaho. It operates in three segments: hydroelectric generation, wind power generation, and site development. Through its hydroelectric generation and wind power generation segments, the Company sells electricity produced by its hydroelectric and wind farm facilities to publicly owned utilities. Through its site development segment, the Company analyses sites and develops hydroelectric, wind farm and solar photovoltaic facilities up to the commissioning stage. On April 20, 2011, the Company acquired Solaris Energy Partners Inc. On April 4, 2011, it acquired Cloudworks Energy Inc.
