Pembina Pipeline Income Fund (the Fund) operates in three key segments: Conventional Pipelines, Oil Sands Infrastructure and Midstream. The Company’s midstream and marketing business consists of the Company’s 50% non-operated interest in the Fort Saskatchewan Ethylene Storage Facility and the network of terminals, storage facilities and hub services operated across Pembina’s conventional pipeline systems. Pembina has 775,000 barrels per day (bbls/d) of fully contracted synthetic crude oil transportation capacity over three distinct pipeline systems serving in the Athabasca oil sands region, which include, the Syncrude pipeline, which provides service to Syncrude; the Cheecham Lateral pipeline, which delivers synthetic crude oil from the Syncrude pipeline to a facility near Cheecham, Alberta, and the Horizon pipeline, which provides the service to Canadian Natural Resources Ltd.’s (CNRL) Horizon Oil Sands project.
