Shore Gold Inc. (Shore) is engaged primarily in the exploration for and the development, mining and sale of precious metals and gems. The Company focuses on the exploration and development of its mineral properties. As of December 31, 2008, Shore held a 100% interest in the Star Property, consisting of certain mineral dispositions located in the Fort a la Corne kimberlite field approximately 60 kilometers east of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. As of December 31, 2008, the Company held a 100% interest in two diamond properties located northwest of the Fort a la Corne kimberlite field area. The Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Kensington Resources Ltd. (Kensington) holds a 60% interest in certain mineral claims in the Fort a la Corne area of Saskatchewan.
