Scorpio Mining Corporation (Scorpio Mining) conducts mining exploration, development and production in Mexico. The Company has one producing mine, the 100% owned, Nuestra Senora silver-lead-zinc-copper mine located in Cosala, State of Sinaloa, Mexico. Its indirectly held, wholly owned Mexican mining subsidiary, Minera Cosala S.A. de C.V. (Minera Cosala), holds 100% ownership of the Nuestra Senora mineral property located in Sinaloa State, Mexico, with no underlying royalties or property payments. Minera Cosala holds 11 mineral concessions covering an area of 18,024 hectares in the Cosala District, State of Sinaloa. Minera Cosala holds five additional mineral concessions covering 1,387 hectares in the Cosala District. The Nuestra Senora mill, which is located nine kilometers north of the Nuestra Senora Mine is a conventional flotation processing operation, which operates at 1,500 tons per day.
