Uranium Focused Energy Fund (the Fund) is a closed-end investment trust. The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve capital appreciation of the portfolio over the life of the Fund. The Fund invests in securities of issuers that operate in or have exposure to the uranium sector (Uranium Related Securities); securities of other energy related issuers that operate in or have exposure to the energy sector (Energy Related Securities), and other securities, including for each such asset class common shares (and securities convertible into or exchangeable for common shares), preferred shares and depositary receipts (or similar securities) of issuers listed on the Totonto Stock Exchange (TSX), the TSX Venture Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange, the American Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, the London Stock Exchange, and the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. Middlefield Limited acts as the trustee and the manager of the Fund, and Middlefield Capital Corporation acts as the advisor.
