iShares CDN S&P/TSX Capped REIT Index Fund (iShares CDN REIT Sector Index Fund) seeks to provide long-term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the S&P/TSX Capped REIT Index (the Index) through investments in the constituent issuers of such Index. The Index consists of securities of Canadian real estate investment trusts (REITs) listed on the TSX, selected by Standard & Poor’s (S&P) using its industrial classifications and guidelines for evaluating issuer capitalization, liquidity and fundamentals. The Index includes income trusts belonging to the S&P/TSX REIT sector classification, with the weight of any one company capped at 25% of the market capitalization of the Index. The Fund is managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited.
