Shinsei Bank, Limited is a Japan-based bank engaged in three business segments. The Banking segments is engaged in businesses including deposit, debt, loan and debt guarantee, domestic and foreign exchange, investments in marketable securities and trading securities, securitization, credit trading, nonrecourse financing, merger and acquisition (M&A), corporate rejuvenation, commercial financing and consumer financing, among others. The Securities segment is involved in the securitization, underwriting and sale of debt through its domestic consolidated subsidiary Shinsei Securities Co., Ltd. The Fiduciary segment is engaged in monetary claim trust, securities trust and fund trust businesses through its domestic consolidated subsidiary Shinsei Trust & Banking Co., Ltd. In addition, Shinsei Bank provides investment trust management and consultation services, credit collection services and others.
