Description
Kirin Holdings Company, Limited is an alcohol beverages and soft drinks manufacturer. The Domestic Alcohol and Beverage division produces beer, sparkling liquor, new alcohol beverages and wines, and imports alcohol drinks. it also operates automobile transportation and food industry-related engineering businesses. The domestic Beverage division manufactures and sells soft drinks, fruit drinks, imports, manufactures and sells mineral water. The Overseas Alcohol and Beverage division manufactures and sells beer, wine, dairy products and fruit drinks. The Pharmaceutical and Bio-Chemical division produces ethical drugs, and researches and develops pharmaceutical products. The Others division provides milk, dairy products and seasonings. As of December 31, 2012, the Company had 258 subsidiaries and 17 associated companies. On February 14, 2013, the Company sold out 14.76% stake in Fraser and Neave, Ltd.
