Japan Wind Development Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company primarily involved in the renewable energy-related business. Through 15 domestic companies and three overseas companies, the Company is engaged in electric power sales business, including maintenance and management of domestic wind power station and the sale of auto demand controllers. The Company is also engaged in the cession of wind power station and development programs, the commissioned development business, among others. As of March 31, 2012, the Company had 27 subsidiaries. On February 14, 2012, the Company established a new wholly owned subsidiary. On August 31, 2012, the Company sold the 100% stake of a subsidiary. On October 31, 2012, it sold its 90.0% stake of a Chiba-based subsidiary to KANDENKO CO LTD. On December 28, 2012, it sold 100.0% stake of a Saga-based subsidiary and 99.8% stake in a Yamaguchi-based 99.8%-owned subsidiary.
