Description

SAKATA INX CORPORATION is a company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of printing ink. The Company operates in four business segments. The Printing ink segment manufactures and sells newspaper printing ink, offset printing ink, flexo ink, gravure ink and metallic ink. The Printing Equipment and Materials segment is engaged in the purchase and sale of plate making and printing equipment and materials mainly for the Japan market. The Functional Materials segment is engaged in the production and sale of ink-jet ink, toner, pigment dispersion liquid for color filters, and functional coating agent. The Others segment is engaged in the purchase and sale of color-related equipment and chemicals, as well as the provision of display services. As of March 31, 2012, the Company had 29 subsidiaries and six associated companies.
