The Advertising segment provides banner advertising, text advertising, mail advertising and searching tracking advertising services. The Business Service segment provides services to corporate clients, excluding advertising companies. This segment provides services under the names Yahoo! HotJobs, Yahoo! Real Estate, Yahoo! Autos, Yahoo! Auction, Yahoo! Shopping, Yahoo! BB, Yahoo! Research, Yahoo! Business Express and Yahoo! Web Hosting. The Personal Service segment provides services under the names Yahoo! Auction, Yahoo! Premium and Yahoo! BB for individual clients. On October 1, 2009, the Company merged with its Tokyo-based wholly owned subsidiary.
