Description

SEGA SAMMY HOLDINGS INC. is a holding company operates in five business segments. The Game Machine segment is engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of pachi-slot and pachinko machines (Japanese slot machines), as well as the design of game halls. The Amusement Machine segment develops, designs and sells game machines for amusement facility uses. The Amusement Facility segment is engaged in the development, operation, rental and maintenance of amusement facilities. The Consumer segment is engaged in the development and sale of game software, the development, manufacture and sale of toys, the planning and sale of entertainment contents through mobile phones, as well as the planning, production and sale of animation movies. The Others segment is involved in the provision of information service. On March, 26, 2012, it acquired 100% ownership of Phoenix Resort K.K. On April 18, 2013, the Company established a South Korea-based subsidiary.
