Description

Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based manufacturing company mainly engaged in shipbuilding business. It has five business segments. The Ship segment mainly designs, manufactures, sells and leases various ships. The Steel Structure Construction segment is engaged in the construction, installation and repair of bridges, bunkers, container cranes and other steel structures, as well as the supply of wind-generated electric power. The Machinery segment offers marine equipment, marine and industrial boilers, gas and steam turbines, air blowers, compactors, cogeneration equipment, power systems, induction heating systems, semiconductor related components and others. The Plant segment designs and constructs petroleum chemistry plants, petroleum refining plants, waste, water and exhaust gas processing plants and resource recycle plants. The Others segment is engaged in the real estate, warehouse, information, communication and engineering businesses.
