Tate & Lyle PLC provides ingredients and solutions to the food, beverage and other industries. The Company operates through two business segments: Speciality Food Ingredients, which offers products, such as sweeteners, texturants, health and wellness, and food systems, and Bulk Ingredients segment, which offers products, such as liquid sweeteners, industrial starches, citric acid, bio-fuels and animal feed. The Company operates a network of corn wet mills in the United States and Europe. In the United States, the Company's manufacturing assets include four corn wet mills, which are located in the Midwest, and one in Tennessee. Its other sites include SPLENDA Sucralose facility in McIntosh, Alabama, a citric acid plant in Ohio and a food systems blending facility in Illinois. In Europe, the Company's operations include five corn wet mills, including the Company's wholly owned plant in the Netherlands and four joint venture plants located in the Eastern European corn belt.
