Russell Hobbs (formerly Salton) is plugged into the modern home. The company markets and distributes kitchen and other small household appliances. It has tapped into the currents of culinary gadgetry with such items as coffeemakers, bread machines, portable grills, and juicers. Russell Hobbs also offers an automated litter box cleaner. Products carry the brands George Foreman, Stanley Black & Decker, Toastmaster, Juiceman, Breadman, Russell Hobbs, and Farberware. It sells its goods through mass merchants (such as Wal-Mart and Target), department and specialty stores, infomercials, catalogs, and the Internet. Spectrum Brands acquired Russell Hobbs from investment firm Harbinger Capital Partners in mid-2010.
