Dover Motorsports, Inc. is a marketer and promoter of motorsports entertainment in the United States. Through its subsidiaries, the Company owned and operated Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware and the Nashville Superspeedway track in Nashville, Tennessee. The Company's Dover facility promoted the six events during 2014, including two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events, two NASCAR Nationwide Series events, one NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event and one NASCAR K&N Pro Series East event, all of which were under the auspices of the sanctioning body in motorsports - the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). Dover International Speedway, known as the Monster Mile, is a high-banked, one-mile, concrete superspeedway with permanent grandstand seating capacity of approximately 96,000. Nashville Superspeedway (Nashville) is located on approximately 1,400 acres of land in Wilson County and Rutherford County, Tennessee.
