Sagent Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a pharmaceutical company. The Company is focused on developing, manufacturing, sourcing and marketing injectable pharmaceutical products, which it sells throughout North America. It operates in two segments: Sagent US, consisting of the Company's United States operations and the SCP manufacturing facility, and Omega, which is focused on the Canadian and international markets. It conducts its operations across North America and has a manufacturing facility in Chengdu, China. Its products are categorized into three categories: anti-infective, oncology and critical care. Its anti-infective products assist in the treatment of various infections and related symptoms, oncology products are used in the treatment of cancer and cancer-related medical problems, and the Company's critical care products include anesthetics, cardiac medications, steroidal products and sedatives. Its critical care products also include certain allergy and phlebology medications.
