Uranium Energy Corp. (Uranium Energy) is a natural resource exploration company engaged in the exploration of properties that may contain uranium minerals in the United States. As of July 31, 2009, the Company had interests in 46,752 gross acres (39,224 net mineral acres) of leased or staked mineral properties, consisting of claim blocks located in the states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Utah and Wyoming. The Goliad Project in Goliad County, Texas, and the Cebolleta Project, in Cibola County, New Mexico, are the Company’s principal mineral properties. In December 2009, Uranium Energy Corp. acquired South Texas Mining Venture, L.L.P from URN Resources Inc. (URN), a subsidiary of Uranium One Inc., and Everest Exploration, Inc.
