Unitech Energy Resources Inc. (Unitech) is engaged in the business of exploring for and developing petroleum and natural gas properties in Western Canada. The Company provides data retrieval and consulting services to oil and gas companies using its pattern recognition system known as LeadScan. The LeadScan system combines approximately 1.5 terabytes of digital well log data with a pattern recognition system that allows Unitech to specify and search for desirable combinations of well log features. On June 23, 2008 the Company acquired Pendor IV Joint Venture Ltd., Pendor V Joint Venture Ltd., and Medicine Hat VI Inc.
