Vena Resources Inc. (Vena) is engaged in acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in Peru. Vena is focused on exploring its Peruvian Azulcocha, Esquilache, Pucara, Sudamericana de Carbon (SDC) and uranium properties. Other properties of Vena include the Granja Nueva Property and the Inca Gold projects. The Company operates four business units: the Uranium Division, which controls 47,500 hectares of uranium prospects for the exploration and confirmation of all 78 targets found by Peruvian Institute of Nuclear Energy; the Precious Metals Division, which is engaged in exploring the Las Princesas Property and the Esquilache Project; the Base Metals Division, which is responsible for developing all copper/molybdenum deposits, including the Granja Nueva project, and the Mining Group, which is responsible for the Azulcocha project, a zinc and manganese mine.
