VIASPACE Inc. (VIASPACE) is a renewable and alternative energy company. The Company operates in three separate businesses. The Company also manufactures and develops framed copyrighted artwork in China and market and sell them in the United States. It produces disposable fuel cartridges that provide the energy source for notebook computers and cell phones powered by fuel cells. In October 2008, the Company acquired a majority interest in Inter-Pacific Arts Corp (IPA). In December 2008, the Company announced that it sold its non-core security business line to Knovitech, Inc.
