Van Kampen Trust for Investment Grade New Jersey Municipals (the Trust) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Trust's investment objective is to seek to provide a high-level of current income exempt from federal income taxes and New Jersey gross income taxes, consistent with preservation of capital. The Trust will invest substantially all of its assets in New Jersey municipal securities rated investment grade at the time of investment. The Trust commenced investment operations on March 27, 1992. The Trust's investment advisor is Van Kampen Asset Management.
