Visteon Corporation (Visteon) is a supplier of automotive systems, modules and components to global vehicle manufacturers (OEMs) and the automotive aftermarket. It operates in four segments: Climate, Electronics, Interiors and Other. The Climate product group includes facilities that primarily manufacture climate air handling modules, powertrain cooling modules, heat exchangers, compressors, fluid transport and engine induction systems. The Electronics product group includes facilities that primarily manufacture audio systems, infotainment systems, driver information systems, powertrain and feature control modules, climate controls, electronic control modules and lighting. In May 2009, the Company announced that Visteon and certain of its United States subsidiaries voluntarily filed petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. The petitions were filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
