Webster Financial Corporation (Webster) is a bank holding company. Webster, through Webster Bank and various non-banking financial services subsidiaries, delivers financial services to individuals, families, and businesses throughout southern New England and eastern New York State. Webster also offers equipment financing, commercial real estate lending, asset-based lending, and insurance premium financing. Webster provides business and consumer banking, mortgage lending, financial planning, trust, and investment services through 181 banking offices, 489 automated teller machine (ATMs), telephone banking, and its Internet Website (www.websteronline.com). The Company operates through four business segments: Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, Consumer Finance, and Other. On February 1, 2008, Webster completed the sale of Webster Insurance to USI Holdings Corporation.
