Description

Worthington Industries, Inc. (Worthington), is a diversified metal processing company, focused on steel processing and manufactured metal products, such as metal framing, pressure cylinders, automotive past- and current-model year service stampings, and through joint ventures, metal ceiling grid systems and laser-welded blanks. The Company operates in three business segments: Steel Processing, Metal Framing and Pressure Cylinders. The Steel Processing business segment consists of the Worthington Steel business unit (Worthington Steel). The Metal Framing business segment consists of the Dietrich Metal Framing business unit (Dietrich). The Pressure Cylinders business segment consists of the Worthington Cylinder business unit (Worthington Cylinders). At May 31, 2009, the Company had 41 manufacturing facilities globally and held equity positions in six joint ventures, which operated an additional 19 manufacturing facilities globally.
