Wausau Paper Corp. (Wausau Paper) manufactures, converts, and sells paper and paper products within three principal operating segments: Specialty Products, Printing and Writing, and Towel and Tissue. All three of the business segments market their products under the Wausau Paper trademark. The majority of its products are sold within the United States and Canada. Specialty Products produces a variety of technical specialty papers that include supercalendered backing papers for pressure-sensitive labeling applications, tape backing, and packaging materials for a range of food, medical, and industrial applications. Printing and Writing manufactures, converts, and markets a line of printing and writing grades. Towel and Tissue produces a line of towel and tissue products that are marketed along with soap and dispensing systems for the industrial and commercial away-from-home market.
