Westell Technologies, Inc. is a holding company. The Company operates in three segments: Customer Networking Systems (CNS) equipment, Outside Plant Systems (OSPlant Systems) equipment (both segments collectively referred to as combined equipment segments or equipment segments) and ConferencePlus services segment. The CNS equipment segment includes networking and transmissions products. The OSPlant Systems equipment segment is a provider of performance monitoring digital signal 1 (DS1) and digital signal level 3 (DS3) transmission and termination equipment, outside plant cabinets, enclosures, power distribution, termination panels and enclosures. Its ConferencePlus services segment comprises a 100%-owned subsidiary, Conference Plus, Inc. (ConferencePlus).
