iShares CDN S&P/TSX Capped Materials Index Fund (iShares CDN Materials Sector Index Fund) seeks to provide long-term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the S&P/TSX Capped Materials Index (the Index) through investments in the constituent issuers of such Index. The Index is a constrained market capitalization-weighted index that consists of the securities of Canadian materials sector issuers listed on the TSX, selected by S&P using its industrial classifications and guidelines for evaluating issuer capitalization, liquidity and fundamentals. In the Index, the weight of any one company, in terms of market capitalization, is limited to 25%. iShares CDN Materials Sector Index Fund is managed by Barclays Global Investors Canada Limited, an indirect subsidiary of Barclays PLC.
