Quiksilver, Inc. designs, produces and distributes branded apparel, wintersports equipment, footwear, accessories and related products. The Company’s products are sold in approximately 90 countries in a range of distribution channels, including surf shops, ski shops, skateboard shops, snowboard shops, its concept stores, other specialty stores and select department stores. The Company has three operating segments: Americas, Europe and Asia/Pacific. The Americas segment includes revenues primarily from the United States and Canada. The European segment includes revenues primarily from Western Europe. The Asia/Pacific segment includes revenues primarily from Australia, Japan, New Zealand and Indonesia. On November 12, 2008, the Company sold its Rossignol business, which included the brands Rossignol, Dynastar, Look and Lange.
