Inland Land Appreciation Fund II, L.P. (the Partnership) is a limited partnership. The Company is engaged in the business of real estate investment. As of December 31, 2011, the Partnership had farm leases of generally one year in duration, for approximately 721 acres of the approximately 959 acres-owned. Through December 31, 2011, the Company had a number of sales transactions, disposing of approximately 3,571 acres of the approximately 4,530 acres originally-owned. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company had no land sales. Inland Real Estate Investment Corporation is the Company's general partner. During March 2011, approximately 3.1 acres of Parcel 20 were conveyed to the Village of Montgomery for use as part of a sanitary booster station and a storm water management basin.
