Aecon Group Inc. is a Canada-based construction and infrastructure development company. The Company operates in four segments: infrastructure, buildings, industrial and Concessions. The Infrastructure segment includes all aspects of the construction of both public and private infrastructure, including roads and highways, as well as toll highways, dams, tunnels, bridges, airports, marine facilities, transit systems and hydroelectric power projects. The Buildings segment specializes in the construction and renovation of commercial, institutional and multifamily residential buildings. The Industrial segment encompasses all of the Company’s industrial construction and manufacturing activities. The Concessions segment includes the development, financing and operation of infrastructure projects by way of build-operate-transfer, build-own-operate-transfer and other public-private partnership contract structures. In April 2009, the Company completed the acquisition of Lockerbie & Hole Inc.
