Aurora Oil & Gas Corporation (AOG) is an independent energy company focused on the exploration, development, and production of unconventional natural gas reserves. The Company is focused on developing operating interests in unconventional drilling programs in the Michigan Antrim shale and the New Albany shale of Indiana and Kentucky. The Company’s drilling program is dependent on access to the credit markets. In July 2009, the Company and its subsidiary, Hudson Pipeline & Processing Co., LLC filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Michigan.
