Description

Yamana Gold Inc. (Yamana) is a gold producer with significant gold production, gold development stage properties, exploration properties, and land positions throughout the Americas, including Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Canada. The Company's segments include Chapada mine in Brazil, El Penon mine in Chile, Canadian Malartic mine in Canada (50% interest), Gualcamayo mine in Argentina, Mercedes mine in Mexico, Brio Gold Inc., and Corporate and other. The Company's Corporate and other segment includes Minera Florida mine in Chile and Alumbrera mine in Argentina. The Company's principal product is gold. The Company is also engaged in the development of additional projects, including Cerro Moro Project (Argentina), Agua Rica Project (Argentina), Suyai Project (Argentina) and Monument Bay Project (Canada). The Company, through its subsidiary, Brio Gold Inc., holds certain assets, including Pilar mine, Fazenda Brasileiro mine and C1 Santa Luz project.
