Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners (Brookfield) operates as a pure-play renewable power platform. Brookfield is an operator and developer of hydroelectric generation and wind power. The Company�s portfolio is primarily hydroelectric and totals over 6,700 megawatts of installed capacity. Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners portfolio owns and operates over 200 hydropower stations across the Americas and Europe. Brookfield has development projects: Coldwell Wind Energy Project, Lower Lake Hydroelectric Project, Pehonan Hydroelectric Project in Canada and Serra dos Cavalinhos I, Arrozeira Meyer, Foz do Estrela, Cachoeira das Almas, Xanxere and Galera in Brazil. Diversified across 72 river systems and 13 power markets in the United States, Canada, Brazil, and Ireland, the portfolio�s output is sold predominantly under long-term contracts and generates enough electricity from renewable resources.
