SPDR Barclays Capital 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF, formerly SPDR Lehman 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance of the Barclays Capital 1-3 Month U.S. Treasury Bill Index. The Barclays Capital 1-3 Month U.S. Treasury Bill Index includes all publicly issued zero-coupon United States treasury bills that have a remaining maturity of less than three months and more than one month, are rated investment grade, and have $250 million or more of outstanding face value. The 1-3 Month U.S. Treasury Bill Index excludes special issues, such as flower bonds, targeted investor notes (TINs), state and local government series bonds, treasury inflation-protected securities (TIPS), and coupon issues that have been stripped from bonds included in the index.
