Description

Cresud SACIF y A (Cresud) is an Argentinean company engaged in the acquisition and exploitation of agricultural properties; as well as in optimizing the productivity of its agricultural properties through the implementation of agricultural technologies. Its property portfolio comprises 19 farms located in the provinces of Salta, Chaco, Santa Fe, Cordoba, Entre Rios, Buenos Aires, La Pampa, San Luis, Catamarca and Santa Cruz. Its business is mainly based on the production of grain crops, beef cattle and milk. In addition, it is involved in the real estate sector. It owns such subsidiaries as IRSA Inversiones y Representaciones SA, Inversiones Ganaderas SA, Futuros y Opciones.com SA, Agropecuaria Anta SA and Agrology SA. It also holds interests in Cactus Argentina SA, Agro Uranga SA, Companhia Brasileira de Propriedades Agricolas SA (BrasilAgro), FyO Trading SA and Exportaciones Agroindustriales Argentinas SA. It has operations established in Brazil, Boliva, Paraguay and Uruguay.
