Canadian Phoenix Resources Corp. (Canadian Phoenix) is a Canada-based company. The Company is engaged in the exploration and development company that generates opportunities in certain potential multi-zone areas in Alberta and Saskatchewan. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company acquired 50.01% of Serrano Energy Ltd. (Serrano), 56.51% of Marble Point Energy Ltd. (Marble Point), and certain assets from Blue Parrot Energy Inc. (Blue Parrot). Serrano is a heavy oil producer and explorer with operations in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Marble Point is mainly a natural gas producer and explorer, with operations in Alberta, Saskatchewan and North Eastern British Columbia. The assets acquired from Blue Parrot consisted of a number of producing, development and exploratory oil and natural gas wells in Alberta, as well as a royalty interest in a number of producing oil wells. Canadian Phoenix’s producing assets, at December 31, 2008, were Freemont, Lloydminster, Sawdy and Campbell.
