SPDR DJ Global Titans ETF (the Fund) seeks to replicate as closely as possible the performance of the Dow Jones Global Titans Index (the Index). The Index seeks to provide an effective representation of largest global companies. The Index consists of 50 component stocks, which are chosen by Dow Jones. Annually, Dow Jones creates a universe of the largest global stocks by float-adjusted market capitalization. From this universe, Dow Jones uses a model to choose 50 common stocks based on market capitalization, assets, book value, sales/revenue and net profits. The Fund utilizes a passive or indexing approach and attempts to approximate the investment performance of the Index, by investing in a portfolio of stocks intended to replicate the Index.
