The investment seeks to protect against depreciation of the U.S. dollar relative to other currencies. The fund normally invests at least 80% of net assets in investments denominated in "hard currencies." It normally invests mainly in high-quality, short-term money market instruments and forward currency contracts denominated in foreign hard currencies. Under normal market conditions, the fund may not expose more than 50% of total assets to any one foreign currency. It is nondiversified.
