J. Alexander’s Corporation (J. Alexander’s) is a traditional restaurant with an American menu featuring prime rib of beef; hardwood-grilled steaks, seafood and chicken; pasta; salads and soups; assorted sandwiches, appetizers and desserts, and a full service bar. As of December 28, 2008, the Company operated 33 full-service, casual dining restaurants located in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee and Texas. During the fiscal year ended December 28, 2008 (fiscal 2008), alcoholic beverage sales accounted for 17.5% of the Company’s net sales.
