Monteray Mining Group Ltd is an Australia-based investment holding company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition of Vema Resources Pty Ltd, holder of three gold permits in Burkina Faso along with the commencement of exploration activities in these gold permits. The Company has also continued to examine the potential of its Western Australian gold tenements as well as other potential investment opportunities. In October 2012, the Company acquired Vema Resources Pty Ltd, which includes 100% interests in three newly issued gold exploration permits, covering an area of 416 square kilometers proximal to SEMAFO Inc�s Mana gold mine in Central western Burkina Faso. In October 2012, the Company acquired Eburnean Resources SARL, which includes 100% interests in five newly issued gold exploration permits, covering an area of 762 square kilometer in western and central Burkina Faso.
