iShares Barclays Treasury Inflation Protected Securities Bond Fund (the Fund) seeks results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the inflation-protected sector of the United States Treasury market as defined by the Barclays Capital U.S. Treasury Inflation Protected Securities (TIPS) Index (the Index). The Index includes all publicly issued, the United States Treasury inflation-protected securities that have at least one year remaining to maturity, are rated investment grade and have $250 million or more of outstanding face value. The Fund generally invests at least 90% of its assets in the bonds of the Index and at least 95% of its assets in the United States Government bonds. BlackRock Fund Advisors (BFA) serves as the investment adviser to the Fund.
