Prize Drawing Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. One winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entrants to attend lunch with a member of Google management so that you can share your suggestions about AdWords. If a winner is located outside of Mountain View, CA (Google's headquarters), Google will pay for the winner's round trip travel and lodging for one night as described in the Prize section below. In addition, all eligible entrants will receive a Google water bottle while supplies last. See the following rules for full details. Term: Entries must be received by Google electronically (if entering by survey completion method) or postmarked (if entering by mail) no later than 5:00 pm PST on November 15, 2007. Sponsor: Google Inc., located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA, 94043 is the sponsor of this promotion ("Google"). Eligibility: The Prize Drawing ("Drawing") is open to all legal U.S. residents who are over the age of majority in the state in which they reside at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of the member companies of Google, Inc., their subsidiaries and affiliated companies and their immediate families and those living in their households, are not eligible to participate in the Drawing. ALL ELIGIBLE ENTRIES WILL BE ENTERED INTO THE PRIZE DRAWING. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. Subsequent entries will be disqualified. All entries become the property of Google. They will not be returned or acknowledged. Google is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete and illegible e-mails or entry materials, or for any computer-related, online, telephonic, or technical malfunctions that may occur. Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error, forged, mechanically reproduced or obtained through fraud or theft. By entering you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and that all decisions of Google are final. If you are entering on behalf of your employer, these rules are binding on you, individually, and your company. Privacy: Google will be collecting personal data about participants when they register and enter the Sweepstakes. Google will share this data in accordance with its privacy policy, located at http://www.google.com/intl/en/privacypolicy.html#information. In addition, Google may use and share your personal data with third parties in order to fulfill its obligation to administer and sponsor this Drawing. Prize: One (1) winner will be invited to attend lunch with a member of Google management. If the winner is located more than one hundred miles outside of Mountain View, California, Google will pay for (i) round-trip coach air transportation for the winner from the airport closest to the winner's home to Mountain View, California (or another airport in the vicinity of Mountain View, CA); (ii) the winner's lodging at a hotel selected by Google for one night; (iii) taxi or car service from the Mountain View, Ca-area airport to the winner's hotel; and (iv) taxi or car service from the winner's hotel to Google's headquarters. If the winner is located less than one hundred miles outside of Mountain View, California, Google will pay for (i) gas reimbursement for car transportation for the winner from the winner's home to Mountain View, California; and (ii) the winner's lodging at a hotel selected by Google for one night. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of prize is $1500.00. Actual retail value may vary based on location of winner's residence and other variables. Blackout dates may apply. Prize will be void if not used by April 29, 2008. Prize may be subject to terms, restrictions and conditions imposed by airlines, travel agencies, hotel, or car service or U.S. government. Dates of travel may also depend on schedule of Google manager attending the lunch. By accepting the prize, the winner represents and warrants that they understand that travel, whether in civilized or remote areas and whether by plane, automobile, boat, raft, or other conveyance, or by foot, on land or water, and in the air, contains some inherent element of risk of accident, illness, injury, loss or death, which may be caused by negligence, forces of nature, wild animals or other agencies, known or unknown. Winner represents that they recognize that such risks may be present at any time before, during and after the trip. In no event shall Google, or its affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies or agents, be liable for any harm, damage, claim, loss or other action arising out of the winner's use and enjoyment of the prize offered herein. Winner Selection: On or about December 15, 2007, Google will select one (1) person from all eligible entries as a potential winner. The prize drawing will be conducted at Google's headquarters. The potential winner will be notified by email or regular mail, at Google's discretion. The odds of winning depend on how many entries Google receives. Winning entries may be subject to verification prior to award of prize. Potential winners will have fourteen (14) days from notification to claim his or her prize. Google and its affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies, or their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will not be liable for unsuccessful efforts to notify a winner. The prize will be delivered by ground shipping within 8-12 weeks. No prize transfer, assignment or substitution by winner permitted. All federal, state and local taxes, fees and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. If the potential winner declines the prize, fails to claim the prize, is unavailable for prize fulfillment, fails to abide by the Official Rules, or is ineligible, Google may select an alternate winner from all remaining eligible entries. If prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize is forfeited and Google may select an alternate winner from all remaining eligible entries. If you enter the Drawing via the Internet, you must complete the survey to receive the Google water bottle (Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $6.00) and be eligible for the prize. When you complete the survey, Google will send your name, address and email address to the Google Store and they will send you a Google water bottle within 6-8 weeks of receipt of your survey entry. Google is not responsible for lost, stolen, broken or misdirected shipments. If you enter via the mail, you will not receive a water bottle (because you did not complete the survey) but you will be entered into the Drawing. OFFER AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.
