Another way that websites can get to know a little bit about you is by having you sign in to an account. Once you’re signed in, the site can remember more of your information. What it is will depend on the type of site, but for an online retailer it might be your shipping address. Or it might be what you’ve bought in the past so that it can give you better recommendations for products that might interest you. When you create a new account, remember to use a strong password.
