Google Docs
Google Docs allows you to create and share documents online. One of the benefits is that it enables multiple people in different locations to collaborate simultaneously on the same doc but the sharing settings ensure that you’re always in control of who can see and edit the docs that you create. There are three different visibility options: private, anyone with the link, and public on the web. All docs start as private until you change the settings (unless you’re a Google Apps customer where it may be different).
As in the offline world, you should remember that people you share with online can re-share the information you’ve given them. If you grant someone edit access to one of your docs, they can invite more people to view or edit the document.
It’s good to know that Google Docs gives you control over who can see the content you create. Read the next topic: Sharing your location in Latitude
