Introducing a new Google presentations
Whether you’re trying to wow your boss with an end-of-quarter presentation or impress
your classmates with an animated book report, the new version of presentations can help.
Here’s a quick look at the latest features available in presentations: Character-by-character
collaboration lets you see others’ updates as you edit presentations together.
- Chat with collaborators directly within the presentation.
- Draw organizational charts, flowcharts, design diagrams and much more right within
Google presentations.
- Transition between slides to add more effects to your presentation.
- New and improved animations make your presentations more dynamic.
- Shape linking lets you turn shapes within your presentation into hyperlinks that link
to other slides, presentations, or webpages.
- Revision history stores edits so you can revert back to previous versions.
- New themes make it easy to create show-stopping presentations.

Google Docs are more accessible
To help blind users read, edit and navigate content, Google Docs (including documents
list, documents and spreadsheets) and Sites now support two screen readers: JAWS and

Paint format tool in documents
The new paint format tool in Google documents lets you copy the style of your text --
including font, size, color and other formatting options -- and apply it somewhere else

Google Fusion Tables in documents list
Google Fusion Tables let you easily gather, visualize and collaborate on data online.

Drag-and-drop images in drawings
You can now drag-and-drop an image from your computer into a Google drawing. From there,
add text, shapes, or any other drawings flair.

Comment-only access in documents
With this new sharing option, you can allow people to view and comment on a document
without giving them the ability to directly edit the document.

Subtotal function in spreadsheets
Use the subtotal function to summarize spreadsheet data in various ways. It also works
well with filters so you can get the most information out of your spreadsheet quickly and

Page numbers and page count in documents
Keep track of pages in a long document by adding page numbers or the total page count to

Print Google Docs in one click from your mobile device
We’ve made it easier to print on the go directly from your mobile documents list. Once
you enable Google Cloud Print, simply select a document from the documents list and click
on Actions > Print from the bottom toolbar.

With the Google Docs App for Android, you can now create, edit, upload, and share docs
from your phone in 46 languages.

Insert images from your Android phone into a document
You can now take pictures with your phone and insert them into a Google document using

Documents list gets a new look and keyboard shortcuts
As part of our effort
to provide an improved and consistent web experience across Google products, you can now

Use Google spreadsheets charts in your documents and drawings
You can now copy and paste a chart from a spreadsheet into a document or drawing.
